I have a home receiver usually on 68. For several nights at exactly 2 am Pacific time the music stops for around 10 minutes. The receiver is an onyx. The screen is completly blank shows no messages at all. Then the music starts again and everything appears normal. ???

Admittidly this can happen. An overload of a server is not necessarily related to social media. It just means that a lot of people tried to get access at once. SXM made a decision on their own with no vote from the audience. I do not think there is a way for them to track satellite listeners...

Your right about that regarding satellite radio. Escape was the only service on XM I know of that pointed out that they could be received anywhere in North America and celebrated with special music for holidays in various countries. We are losing the best to the mini boob tube crowd unfotunately.

I did check and AccuRadio does have the SPA(68) and several similar stations under new age. It is similar and sound is better. Free Service.

I would agree with you but this is just nonsense with fakey 1940 imitation voices. Since I was alive in the forties and listened to the radio back then I would say the music presented is accurate but the announcers were very professional and provided the info you suggest.
