    I got Charter reinstalling cable this weekend and do not know what HD DVR I can expect, I can not recall if I had the Explorer 8000HD before or not and how long has the Explorer 8300HD been around? Thanks.

    Channels under 100, digital yet?

    I had digital Charter and it could not compare to Sat at all, I had to deal with dropouts on most stations and in fact TNT was unwatchable. Also ghosting on most stations, this was in the Los Angeles area.
