    I assume you have two sw21s ith the dual setup. So try trading the sw21s and see if the problem follows. While doing this trade be sure all the connectors are clean of corrsion and tight.

    unless you live where you have lots of snowfall, a cover isn't going to help. for a cheap temporary cover, place a large garbage bag over your dish, this will keep snow from building up in your dish.

    are you sure the dish hasn't moved? do you have another receiver to test with?

    sounds like the 721 to me, 721 is sensitive to certain setups,(diplexer may be confusing the 721) also could be a 721 tuner going bad(a known issue)

    You can get S-Video and Audio cables in long lengths. I have 25 feet cables and get good results. Also there are S-Video amps to boost and run more than one S-video from a single source. Of course these cables are fairly large and most people would want to run them out of sight.
