Today I received an email allegedly from Scott that I believe is bogus. I received one other like this about a month ago. I seem to recall someone somewhere mentioning the same thing.

Just a few minutes ago I got the 404 using my bookmark in Chrome which is a link to the Forums page. At the same time I could go directly to the Pub using a different bookmark.

I was just going to mention this. For about month or so, once in a blue moon I've been receiving "404 Not Found".

Why one would prefer this.......

Don, in my opinion whenever possible thumbnails should be used. If not required under the site rules, it should at least be considered proper posting etiquette. Even in the photography threads I prefer thumbnails as opposed to multiple large images in a post.

As a general rule I always download images to my PC and then upload them here as thumbnails. If there is a hard drive space issue I will gladly down size all my NASA images before uploading them. Full resolution images provided as thumbnails are merely a courtesy/convenience to the reader...

Does the new software not work with IE8? Reason I ask is that I am working on an old laptop and can't log on with it. It is not a big deal because Chrome works fine. Just curious.....
