Wild Blue.. max run = 150 feet

You shouldn't need 11 for that short of a run. PersonallyI think we should be using quad up to 200' on WB, and Hughes Net.

    Tall Trees

Here's the thing about installing on a tree. The tree at that high up will sway. Mounting on a tree that grows won't work in a few month, or year do to tree growing. leaves will get in the way. Nobody is stupid enough to climb that high.

    Tall Trees

This reminds me (didn't want to be reminded of this) of an install with this house with a very steep roof. I told the customer I could get up there with a bucket truck. They thought I was going to do that for free. ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah I'm going to pay a guy with a bucket...

Wild Blue.. max run = 150 feet

It should be ok, maybe you got a bad roll. It's possible the Modem isn't boosting power properly also.

Wild Blue.. max run = 150 feet

What brand of cable were you using? Probably what was happening was that there was too much DC resistance causing voltage drop, which results in transmitter power fluctuation. That would directly result in the speed fluctuation. If it is copper clad that would make sence. If it is a cheaper...

I went through this alot as an installer, Customer rep didn't properly explain everthing just like this. This is a big reason I don't do any video fulfillment work. That, and it doesn't pay enough.

322 receiver now only working for one room?

Do this, and if it is clear then it is a cabling issue. Put new connectors on first, not those damn twist on ones!!!!!!! They are junk. I could also be a splitter somewhere that is causing the problem.

Dish Wants $417 For A Free Install

It's simple; The tech screwed up this original posters paperwork, causing him to be billed extra, In my case Dish rep that sold the customer a system then spelled his name wrong. In both cases Dish treated what was on the paperwork as being written in stone, they are good at that, any dish...

Dish Wants $417 For A Free Install

Amen to that, Dish is terrible about this type of stuff. I had a referal Job I did a few years ago for a dealer, Dish spelled the guys name wrong, the customer noted that on the paperwork signed his name correctly spelled, and you guessed it good ol Dish wouldn't pay. The dealer got it...
