I was offered both today (i just asked what the lowest price packs were). After christmastime we were going to drop dish altogether and just go it OTA with Roku/netflix/Amazon/Hulu. ETF is $15 a month. Welcome pack with locals is $15 a month. HMMMMM. No brainer here. My only question is...

what are the prices of the family pack? Does anyone still have a list of channels on the welcome pack?

And dish didn't pull them, Disney did, so Again the we may do whatever we like is BS. Dish didn't pay their bill.

I received no notice whenthey took away the HD feeds of Disney ABC Family and ESPN news, effectively taking them out of the Dish America Packages altogether. Did anyone else? If so please tell me how they notified you.

Its too bad for all the Dish America subs who don't even get the sd version for their children and family. We still pay the same and get offers to upgrade to an SD package when we ask when our channels will be back. (that's right, they won't turn on free HD for you or anything, pay extra or...

What you guys are saying makes sense, I just think from my point of view, the HD subs may nt watch much of the free previews and not be enticed to mov eup. Ont he other hand HBO will be HD this month and so is Tennis.
