Add me as another who was greatly disappointed that the game was not playing on the HD channel. The only reason I bumped up my service was so I could watch the games, in HD if possible. No point in advertising the channel in HD if you have no plans in using it.

I use one of these with component out from the HWS. Works like a charm. I have HDMI going out to the A/V receiver at the same time. Edit: Hmm, I just realized you are using an upgraded Hauppauge. My apologies. :)

Like Adam, I am still upset with the Voom situation. But overall I'm glad I made the switch to Dish. I recently bought a 750gb external hard drive so now I have more room for my HD movies and TV shows. Price is not too bad either.

Talk about a kick in the junk. I only went with Dish to get the Voom network, specifically Monsters HD. And then a few months later they got turned off. I seriously doubt Voom comes back but I would still like to know what exactly happened between the two companies.

I could see not wanting to lose all of your saved movies/tv shows. My problem is lack of space. If I only have room for one EHD, then I need to get the biggest one. If Dish allows HDs with a higher space cap then everyone will be happy.
