    DishMEXICO Launches November 19th

DishMEXICO is for Mexican-American audiences in the US, not a Dish service for Mexico itself. Sounds like it's just a repackaged DishLatino.

    Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Any Progress

CSN Northwest has a ton of issues to clear through. Making it's telecast available on all cable ops in the Blazers market area. Working with the Blazers if they want to enter the Seattle Market. Getting coverage on Dish and Directv. Offering more sports content that Blazers and Oregon Ducks...

ESPN2 Right Now Blacked Out in Dallas - Why?

It has to do with ESPN2 and ABC doing what called "Reverse Mirroring". One game is deemed a National Game, in this case Oregon St./Penn St. If your ABC station is not showing that game, you get it from ESPN2. The blacked out game is available from ESPN GamePlan.

LA Dodger game blacked out on the Big Island (Hawaii)??!!

FSN Prime Ticket is available in Hawaii but it is not included in as a primary RSN, only FSN West is, you need to have a dish at 110 plus sub to Dish's Multi-sport package. The reason is that FSN Prime Ticket is located at 110w and 90% of Dish subs in Hawaii only have one dish for 119. FWIW...

    Dead transponder on E3 61.5W?

It is a back-up, but Cheyenne doesn't do everything. Arizona handles some of the load.

    Dead transponder on E3 61.5W?

Strong storms in Arizona tonight....similar to the national outage on Tues...relates to uplinks.

    HD having MAJOR issues!!!

Cheyenne is the uplink center for Dish. These storms act like rain fade in reverse, the sats can see the signal..this may be a off and on deal tonight.

    So Hawaii gets screwed again

Nobody is sure about that either, Ciel 2 is a Canadian bird operating at a Canadian slot. There is no requirement that the satellite service AK/HI/PR. If one goes to the Ciel website it simply says Canadian-Continental US for coverage. Ciel Satellite Group I know some of you are kidding...

    Wow CBS-College HD= another stetch-o-vision P.O.S channel

What he mean is a program originally aired in HD...such as games from this years "March Madness" being rebroadcast on CBS-C in SD and also being stretched to fit 16:9.

    San Diego's channels changing?

The more shocking thing is that KSWB is owned by Tribune. One would think that when WGN-HD and FOX in Seattle and Sacramento were finally added that the switch to FOX for KSWB would also be negotiated.

The Thread For Those Cities Without All BIG 4 in HD

Your missing KHNL-DT (NBC) Honolulu from the list. Neither Dish nor Directv carry it due to reception issues. Rumor mill though has the issue resolved by Sept.

Is anyone in Alaska getting Sci-Fi HD and/or USA HD?

FWIW, same thing here in Hawaii. USA and Sci-Fi are in the epg and red. I have a 211 with the AK/HI HD package but also have the Couns(Mpeg2) versions of ESPN/TNT/HD Net and Movies/HD theater plus all the PPV's and the "TEST" channel at 5710 that are at 110w.

Need help from Hawaii experts and moving experts

If you are going to keep the LA address for DishHD I would recommend the following: 24" for 119 36" for 110 1.2m for 129 As for OTA, the Maui stations are repeaters for the Honolulu stations and will mostly "Flash Cut" from analog to digital in Feb. '09. None of the stations is currently...

MLB Extra Innings Coming to DISH!

Yup, it's the reason Time Warner Cable in Hawaii doesn't offer MLBEI. All of the West Coast Teams claim Hawaii as part of their home markets, TWC already offers the Mariners, Angels and Dodgers(Dish subs: Mariners, Angels. Directv: Angels, Dodgers). Other than the D'backs, unless they are...

Are Denver Distant Nets Going away- making room for HD?

Or it just could be that virtually all the markets in the Mountain Time Zone now,or are soon, being offer by Dish there is no longer a need for a Distant.

    Hawaiian questions

Dish's core programming is at 119, it's PPV(Sports packages) and AT150 programming is at 110. Yes, if you want to receive all of Dish's programming you will need 2 dishes. For the Big Island, a 24" for 119 and a 30" for 110 would yield the best results. Unfortunately, all new subscribers require...
