I know what you are saying. Degredation of picture quality can make a huge difference in viewing interest. For example, the picture quality that I had for HDNET and HDNETMOVIES from Adelphia was not nearly as good as I have with FIOS. Now, I watch these channels a lot more.

So, I have ordered a dish installation and I will see how it goes and looks and can hopefully do a head on head comparison with FIOS. I have to say, the more I see Fios the more I am impressed with the HD picture quality. HDNET and HDNETMOVIES look outstanding on fios.

Do to large trees around my house, I only have line of sight at 61.5 degrees. What channels can I get there? I am primarily interested in HD and am under the impression that the HD channels are all available at 61.5. But I wanted to confirm this. Thanks in advance for any help!
