BBC News Moving to Streaming Only

Appears it’s in the news pack but not in the America’s Everything Pack (or the ones below it) Definitely an odd arrangement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does Dish carry both home and away games on NBA League Pass?

If you are out of market, they do show both feeds. They get direct feeds from the NBA so there is no limitations now. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

    NHL Center Ice issues

Dish had a majority of the Canadian feeds excluding SN1 as of a couple of weeks ago. Seems they lost them too. Had a feeling it was only a matter of time with the F2 satellite winding down. CBC is on C-Band so HNIC should hopefully remain. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

    NHL Center Ice issues

They likely no longer have access to the channel. The transmission method changed when it relaunched and since Dish does not carry the channel I can see them not getting the new equipment required to receive the feed. The NHL does book several feeds on 113W via Encompass Digital Media to Dish...

does dish televise all the nba league pass games in HD?

DirecTV (satellite) is the only provider that offers any 4K games in NBA League Pass. Dish does have all the games in HD.

Unable to Order HD Pay-Per-View on https://my.dish.com

I get the same results as you. Only SD PPVs are available on the website. Even the event PPVs this weekend can only be ordered in SD. I can still order HD PPVs using the dish app on my phone. Hopefully they fix the website soon.

    We Must Be Getting Close

It’s not as dark as it is with a Hopper 3 and HDR on but it definitely is darker, DirecTV Stream (first attempt at turning Android TV into a TV box) had the same problem. Watching DirecTV Stream on a Roku compared to their box was a massive difference. They finally wised up and added a HDR...

RSN's Now All Gone - NESN dropped

NBA League Pass has a free preview January 14-21. Dish uses Bally and a majority of the other RSNs for the sports packages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NHL Center Ice access to games on ESPN+ ???????

To answer the original question. No it won’t. Center Ice will no longer offer streaming on top of linear TV. If you want to stream out of market games (along with the ESPN+ “exclusive” games) a subscription to ESPN+ is required. Good news is the price has dropped quite a bit. According to the...

Sinclair warns of 112 channels being dropped by DISH next Monday (8/16)

The RSNs are already uplinked. They are used for the various out of market sports packages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    HBO is BACK on DISH

Guessing it’s before midnight. Be embarrassing to be running HBO stuff on channel 102 pushing for subs when you can’t even order it yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2021-22 NHL TV Broadcasts ???

There was reports a month ago that the ESPN deal is streaming only and does not include Center Ice and it is not going away. I am guessing it will lose a good chunk of subscribers since the streaming rate will be much cheaper. MLS does the same thing, it's package is included with ESPN+ but...

    dish and the RSN's

I believe they would end up being "orphan" markets with no team coverage. The RSNs would lose a ton as they would no longer get subscriber fees in those areas so I really cannot see it happening. In theory rights would go back to the league which means if you were in Columbus and wanted to...

    NBC/Comcast Dispute Forthcoming?

I am sure NESN will also be dropped the day the contract ends as it is one of the most expensive RSNs in the country, honestly surprised Dish did not dump it ages ago.

Dish must of got a lot of complaints. They addressed the missing games issue: Please note: some NBA games will not be available with NBA League Pass or NBA Team Pass on DISH. See below for the list of affected games and where you can watch: 12/29: Celtics vs Pacers 12/29: Raptors vs 76ers...

There has been a few others, know Spurs/Toronto on Saturday was not there either. Was a OTA game for San Antonio so at least that one was not on FOX Sports. Hopefully it is just temporary as I am sure they are taking calls from quite a few people if they purchased Team Pass. All these games...

They have been using NBC Sports Chicago as a source. They are not even using the league feeds for games that are not on the RSNs they have access too. No Celtics/Pacers (Ironically the Pacers are on FOX Sports) and no Toronto/Philly game tonight either.

    Regional sports channels

I believe June, if Comcast drops them Sinclair is going to be in a lot of trouble and Comcast knows it. It has been a growing problem for a long time, keep overpaying shelling out big $$$ to teams (ESPN is guilty of this too) then expect everyone to pay for it. RSN fee is up to $8.50 here...
