I have been having a 622 timer issue with my OTA. When I set one, if there are two other timers set to record satellite programs at the same time, it deletes it. If there is only one other satellite program, it converts my OTA to a satellite equivalent. For example, it setup Heroes to record on...

Still locking up, anyone have any suggestions?

Is anyone else having this problem. Since the update, the 622 I have has been either locking up (requiring a reboot) or suddenly has no sound if I "jump" forward (also requiring a reboot). Has happened about four times since Wednesday. I might add that I have had zero problems since I bought it...

I am also in DFW and I got the same thing...must have been a Channel 5 thing.

Well...I have been struck down by the plague as well. We have had our 622 since May and have not had a single problem with it. Last evening we were watching TV, and then...no picture or sound. I first tried changing channels with no resolution. Then I rebooted and hooray, the picture/sound...

I've got the same problem with our 510...I'll keep my eye on this thread. I have called Dish three times and it is still not fixed.

I have a 942, and lost 61.5 for about six hours yesterday. I checked my 811 and it was OK. Both are alright now. ?????

Clarification Please Could someone please summarize what the cost for a 942 to 622 ownership swap will be. I've gotten lost in the 921 versus 942 swap programs, or are they the same? Thanks.

Immediately...told the CSR that I would just continue to use my 942 and when Dish went to all MPEG4, I would cancel Dish, and use the 942 for a doorstop. :) Glad to hear about the new plans, I will wait for the $299 deal. Steve

I called Dish yesterday for the great 942 - 622 swap. I had completed the deal, when i discovered that "I was giving them my 942." Let me clarify that statement. I thought the deal was they were exchanging my 942 for a 622, plus the $99 fee. I was shocked to learn that they get my $700 942 I...

I am just the opposite. WFAA comes in on my 942 at 100% almost all of the time. All of my UHF comes it at above 85%, with the exception of Fox4, which is in the mid 70s (or less = drop outs). Scott has said that the 622 appears to have a better tuner, maybe my problem with Fox will be solved...

We had the same problem in our theater in the DFW (TX) area. All we had was surround channels, demonstrated how discrete DD5.1 is. Ended up watching it in our family room. Steve

My 811 is connected to a Dwin Transvision 3 via the DVI to the Dwin's scaler. We're watching it on a 110" screen. Steve
