It is interesting that the sports are shown on this card. Specifically FSC, I did not think that channel was available in these packages.

I was refering to the soccer in the Latino pack. Mutlisports get you the NFL RZ and Network for those that like the NFL and soccer. There are some MLS games in Mutlisport that can be seen though most all of them can be view on Fox soccer or fox sports espanol.

I am not sure as I own my equipment and do not have issues with changing packages. I do not think there would be a problem with it though. While I like the LatinoMAX package the best, it would be much improved if GOLTVHD was added back to it. Not sure if ESPN Deportes is available in HD or not...

Yes you can add multisports to latino MAX package. It is a good way to go. Especially if you are a soccer fan.

When I tried to add FSC+ to Latino MAX w/HD I was told it was $15 a month not $10. Was this a promotion or maybe the CSR did not look at the correct thing. The only mention on the dish site states it is $15 a month. Does anyone have any more information about this?

What is the downside to this, as far as switch life / reliabilty?

Is there a way to get the NFL network with the Latino Max package? I do not see NFL network listed in the multisport package addon, only nfl redzone. Other than that it has all the channels I would want.

Another thing about this package is to be sure to have the Public Interest channels added for an additional fee of zero. Also each month there is something in preview mode like with any other package.

Yes, the HD only package is sweet. Now if there was a way to subscribe to an HD-only premium package. It would be nice to have a way to get all the Movie premium w/o having to pay for the SD stuff that I don't watch.

I guess I spoke to soon. Today I turned on the receiver and had nothing but snow and flashing screen. I had to pull the power this time to get it back. The signal strength meter for sats is very different. Example 129 TP 31 was around 99 before now it shows 53. No difference in PQ though.

I've received the update. I had the snow screen but just powered off on the front panel. I then waited a couple of minutes and it powered on and went through the usual guide update, etc. I have not had an issue with the hdmi as others are reporting. It looks like the signal strength indicators...

Shouldn't he be able to just pick up a dish 500 or 300 without an lnb and use the single lnb from the 1000 and the built in switch on the twin lnb? Would also need to pick up an I adapter for the 500 / 300. I believe you would have to do a switch test from the receiver to see 61.5 after this.

I'm not having trouble with this channel with my 211 (L345) or hitachi or hisense tuners. Channel 27-1 has never worked correctly with the 211 the others have no problem with it.

I have this problem with my VIP-211, but only with one channel, 27-1 which is the Dallas MyTV. The station comes on perfect on my Hitachi tuner without a problem and a steady signal quality of 83%. On the 211 the signal quality bounces between 0 and 97 with lots of breakups and artifacts. It is...

It will not matter how big of a dish you have if your Line of Sight is blocked. C, Ku, Ka and DBS signals can not pass through trees. You should look into relocating the dish for 129. I have a clear view of 129 and with a .76 meter dish almost every transponder is over 100 on the dish signal meter

This made me laugh for a good 5 minutes!

I am using a 76cm channelmaster dish (It is a globecast branded dish) for 129 and it works very well for me. We had a decent set of storms and rain come through the other day and I did not loose any signal.
