Do you have a Roku or something similar? If so, you can use the CW app to stream shows free the next day in HD.

Yeah, I have 3 separate ones actually. Now FOX is back on the Hopper and Joey. I was concerned because this was the first time I didn't get an OTA signal back from a receiver reset, which I did before the re-scan.

Hopper 3. I did get the Fox station earlier today. I'm getting it now on the Joey, but not the Hopper.

Did anyone else using the OTA module lose the disputed channels? I did a new channel scan and they didn't even show up.

Yeah, I saw that in the guide and then set it up to record on 402. It's all good.

I haven't seen an increase in frequency in the 16 months I've been back with Dish, but if I saw it the way it's been described in this thread I'd also be annoyed.

I notice it once in a great while on DVR recordings on the Hopper 3, but the intensity is slight and the duration is only a couple seconds.

If that ever happened, they need to do something about authorizing broadcast sports viewing on network apps. Right now, I can't watch broadcast NBC or ABC games on the NBC Sports app or the ESPN app because I don't subscribe to locals even though these events are free over the air. I'm not sure...

Dish does refer people to HBO Now on the guide where HBO used to be-channel 300, I believe.

My Hopper 3 goes into my soundbar and the soundbar goes into the TV (ARC). Once I set up my remote under Devices to include my TV and soundbar, and switched HDMI-CEC to On, I just aim the remote at the soundbar and it turns all three devices on/off. That's assuming you have HDMI ARC devices...

In North Texas, I also get the Rocky Mountain ATT Sportsnet, but not the Houston ATT Sportsnet. Of course Astros games are still blacked out unless it's ESPN Sunday Night Baseball or a game on FOX broadcast.

I mean the actual Dish On Demand for the networks. I know if you wait a few days with most networks' streaming apps you don't need to log in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you lose access to broadcast networks' On Demand if you don't subscribe to locals and only obtain them via OTA? I tried to watch something on Fox On Demand and got a link to upgrade my subscription.

I have my Hopper 3, Roku 3 and Blu ray player connected to my soundbar with HDMI (HDMI in). My soundbar is connected to my TV using HDMI out (ARC) to my ARC HDMI input. Works fine. I could use optical to connect to the TV, but I don't.

The main channels in the Wichita Falls, TX market don't have many subchannels, so I get excellent OTA picture quality.

Locals from the antenna always looked better, but with the new (black) dual dongle, the difference in picture quality between NFL Network and local Fox during the Steelers-Panthers game last night was more pronounced than with the original dual dongle.
