They must have jumped the gun on their advertising. According to the website below they are touting both as part of their Platinum HD HD Platinum - Dish Network

According to the website, the EMYST and SCINE channels are included in the HD Platinum package of 17 channels. Where are the HD versions of these channels? I get the SD versions on channels 344 and 353. I have a 1000.4 EA dish. According to the guide, the channels are only in SD.

Shortly after I posted, my TV screen flashed yellow twice and now the sound is fine. Go figure???????????

The audio on my VIP722 is dropping out about every 10 seconds. It doesn't do it on my OTA channels (they are fed directly to the TV, not through the VIP722). Anyone else with this problem or a solution?

Last time I looked (5 seconds ago) Retro TV was on channel 379 on my Dish Network. I don't know if this is the same RTV you all are talking about, but the French Lieutenant's Woman is on.

Thank for the tip Mojo - Used online chat and after getting switched a couple of times and waiting 20 min the CSR said it would not be a problem. Seems to me like if it's available, it would make Dish look better if they would advise you proactively and let you know when you can get something...

I've been getting notices (mail) and phone calls about Cinemax coming to an end also. Received my bill today and it has a line item for Cinemax from 12/16/09 thru 12/15/10 and the price is $.01. Still have Cinemax as of today.

I was watching it live. I don't know when the show was recorded. I rewound it after it ended (DVR) to make sure I was really seeing it.

I was watching Paula Deen on Food Network and it went by just and ended with "Don't miss" then went away. I rewound to read it again.

A message just went across the bottom of my screen saying "Attention Dish Network Subscribers. Starting tonight, you will be losing two of you favorite channels. HGTV and Food Network. Don't miss...." It just ended like that. It was in a red banner with white lettering. What gives??

Anyone else having problems with WTVD-11 freezing? This AM mine was freezing and losing picture about every 2 or 3 minutes and staying off for a minute or longer at the time. The other channels and locals WRAL, etc were okay. Is this a Dish problem or a WTVD problem?

When I go to menu 6-1-3 (System Info) on my 722, satellites 72 and 77 are always green. Sat 61.5 is always yellow. When i pick on details it says "You are currently experiencing signal loss" from -- am to -- pm you had x signal losses on tuner 1. Same for tuner 2. Is this a concern? Only...
