I agree with others here. It was a stupid move to remove the black theme and also the episode sort is totally stupid. Thanks Dish for changes we didn't ask for and that don't make sense. Another job well done.

It most definitely depends on the media server. Different servers have different profiles that they use. If your sever does not recognize the unit (H3) that it is streaming to, it will select a generic profile. This generic profile may be trying to transcode the video or audio into a format that...

Here it is April 2nd. Original Hopper is still plugged in since March 5th and not on an account. Hasn't been active since March 2013. I am still able to play DVR recordings.

I have a Hopper 2K that has been in the closet since March 2013. I just plugged it in and I can still watch all the recordings and even the Rentals that were on it. I can't access Prime Time folder though as it says no guide data.

1.) Allow receiver to go into standby from the Netflix app as set by the standby timeout setting. 2.) Allow setting timers to record to the external hdd. If drive not available or DRM doesn't allow, then record to main hopper. 3.) Allow folders in External HDD.

Just found what must be a bug with the 52 remote. In Home Media, while playing a movie via DLNA, I cannot pause a movie with the 52 remote. It works fine using the 40 remote. If I pause it with the 40 remote, I cannot resume play with the 50 remote, but I can resume with the 40 remote.

A suggestion for the 52 remote and Carbon UI would be to long press the Pause/Play button to stop during DVR playback. Like the Stop button on the 40 remote.

I haven't messed with it that much and someone else may have a better suggestion, but I hit select to bring up the options at the bottom and then hit right arrow to the stop option and then hit select again. That's about the easiest way I've found so far.

If your timers that were restored are set to go into a folder, you won't see the recording unless you set the folder up manually on the H3. They will record, you just can't find them. After I set the folders back up on H3 the recordings displayed in those folders.

You have to Create the folder again and then you will see the recordings. Being that the folder is going to be removed on a reboot, I would suggest moving the recordings to a different folder/no folder and adjust the timers for this as well.

Had H3 installed Tuesday and DishAnywhere on PC started working on Friday. Not too bad. It worked from Android the same day though.
