DISH Drops AMC Networks (AMC Back on DISH channel 131)

I'm not with DISH and I haven't watched AMC since they changed and went commercial (no kidding) so it wouldn't effect me, but if it's true DirecTV and the local cable companies better start adding installers because there's going to be lot of new customers for them.

This was in the paper today.

Same kind of ad has been running in Upstate New York trying to get all the Syracuse University basketball fans to switch.

    Tru tv

Sounds like a major computer glitch at Tru-TV's master control. Like most cable networks, it's probably highly automated with few humans around.

I didn't even realize it until my wife stubbled across them one day. I shall say...

Lifetime Networks worth 50 cents/Month--$6 million a month for all subs

I don't have Dish, I' a DirecTV man, myself, but I am familiar with how channels charge both satellite and cable. Fifty cents a month would be about what Dish pays Lifetime for each subscriber, every month, so they really aren't losing anything money wise. Of course what they are losing in...

Help! Can DISH take money from checking account?

Sorry, I misunderstood, but even so, the bank will still be able to tell him how to stop the authorization from his checking account. It still should be done quickly because some banks take longer than others.

Help! Can DISH take money from checking account?

It shouldn't be a big deal. Call customer service at the bank that issued the card. They'll tell you how to cancel the authorization. After you call, make sure you send it in writing just to be sure. Do it quickly, sometimes it takes a full billing cycle to happen.
