    Dish 6000 - keep or go to 811?

    811 vs 6000 i don't have either one. the 6000 may have its flaws. but i frequently review various forums on consumer electronics, and i've seen considerably more complaints about the 811 and, generally, compliments about the 6000. i might be interested in purchasing one of yours. lemme know.

    charlie chat i agree. just a waste of time. nothing of substance about 811, except the release date keeps getting pushed back, or superdish, except for those who need it to get local channels (which dish doesnt offer in my market anyway!) :x

    Exclusive: First 811 HD Receiver Review

    811 receiver and firewire output maybe ive missed it in the recent forums. but i read not long ago that the new receiver would have a firewire output. this forum does not indicate one way or the other. i didnt think DVI was the same thing. :|
