Can't Get 1883 Program On Dish

1883 is exclusive to the Paramount+ streaming service. They showed the first 2 or 3 episodes on regular cable channels to get folks hooked, and after that it can only be watched on Paramount+. You’ll have to install the Paramount+ app on a device in order to watch it. Sent from my iPhone...

    DISH INSERTED ADVERTISING

I fixed the loud commercials on Dish. I canceled Dish and switched to AT&T U-verse. No more loud commercials. :D

    Left DISH and LOVE IT!!!!!

FIOS will most likely NEVER be available in Raleigh. FIOS is a Verizon product, and Verizon doesn't offer service in Raleigh. Durham is Verizon, Raleigh is AT&T.

How much does Cinemax cost per month??????

When I signed up for it, the CSR told me that Cinemax would be automatically canceled from my account when the promotion expires...and that if I wanted to keep Cinemax after the promotion expired I'd have to call in and request that. Also told me it was for one year...no mention of a renewal...

    Encore/Starz theme channels ala carte.

As I said above...everyone who has the 1 year of Cinemax for penny deal gets this error message and is unable to make programming changes on the web site while logged in to their account. You either have to call in to make changes or use the customer service chat feature on the web site.

    Encore/Starz theme channels ala carte.

Do you have the 1 year of Cinemax for a penny deal? Everyone who has this is unable to make programming changes online and has to call customer service. You should also be able to do it via the customer service online chat on the Dish web site.

Not that I'm complaining... (NatGeo L A Commercials)

I wish the Dish originated commercials on the HD channels had no sound for me. The Dish originated commercials on HD channels for me are so freaking loud they blow me out of the damn house and over to the next block. It's ridiculous.

TLC HD/Discovery HD issues since last night?

This has been going on for me since Saturday. I didn't notice it until right after I had installed my new smartcard on Saturday. I thought the new smartcard was the cause at first, but then I saw another thread on here yesterday where several other people were having the same problem. The...

Problems with 622 after installing new smartcard

I have a 622 receiver and got it when they first came out a few years ago. I've never had any problems with it, and it's always worked great. The mail man delivered my new smartcard yesterday, and I installed it with no problems in just a few minutes. Everything seemed to be working fine at...

    Commercial Volume

I did a search before I posted this, but all I really found was stuff about volume issues when switching between SD and HD channels. Maybe I'm not putting in the right words to search on or something. I have no issue with volume when switching between SD and HD channels, and I have no issues...

    Commercial Volume

I've noticed that commercials that are being inserted by Dish have an insanely loud volume on them. The commercials that the network broadcasts are fine, and seem to be pretty close to the volume of the show. Other than the Dish inserted commercials I don't really have to do much with...

    dishnetwork credit criteria too high

Paying off cards should make your score go up. If you had the accounts closed out after you paid them off, then that can make your score go down. This is especially true if they were cards that you'd had for a long time, or if closing them out caused you to be using up more than a certain...

    dish charge for program changes?

They charge $5.00 for any downgrade of programming, and have done this for a few years now. The $5.00 charge is per call, not per channel or package. If you drop HBO it's $5.00. If you drop HBO, Showtime, and Starz all on the same call it's $5.00. They do it to discourage people from...

    Online programming changes

Most people who get this error have signed up for the 1-year of Cinemax for a penny deal. The previous posters were assuming that you have the 1-year of Cinemax for a penny deal because you're getting this message, so that's why they were telling you this. Apparently this isn't the case for...

    Retailer Chat Recap - August 7, 2008

I saw Raleigh, NC on the list for Eastern Arc on August 20...and I just happen to be in Raleigh. Would switching to Eastern Arc give me better reception than what I have now? Class Action Lawsuit against Dish for Dropping Voom?

Those are two totally different things. Housing and water are NECESSITIES for quality of life, and there are laws (usually local) to provide renters with at least certain minimum standards. While some people may consider television service a necessity as well (many see it as a utility such as...

Class Action Lawsuit against Dish for Dropping Voom?

Nobody forced you to spend $2,000 on a TV, and nobody forced you to agree to a 2 year commitment. A 2 year commitment was offered in exchange for a discount, and you agreed. You didn't have to do it. You'll have absolutely no luck in court due to Dish's terms of service that you agreed to...
