    I've done the Center Ice package for about three years now but just called to drop it. If I can't see my team's 65 in-market games then there's no point in seeing the few out of market. Hopefully they get this worked out ASAP.

    I had a problem of no sound or picture when I got my first 722 about a year and a half ago. Turned out to be the 722. The CSR told me that "there were known issues" with the 722 HDMI output. Not quite the same problem. Hope it helps.

    Silent External Harddrive

    I bought a Seagate Showcase for my main TV. It has been very quiet so far. I also bought an Iomega Prestige for my bedroom TV. From time to time I can hear it humming across the room. Not so quiet.

    Thanks for the info. Otherwise I never would have noticed. All the shopping channels are locked out on both of my receivers.

    622 with bad HDMI

    I had a problem with my first 722's HDMI port. The CSR that I dealt with said they were "known issues" with DISH and sent me a replacement that worked fine. That was about sixteen months ago. No idea if that relates to the 622.

    I got my 722 September of last year. It has been replaced once. Had a bad HDMI input. DISH CSR said that was a "known issue."

    722 is worth a few extra bucks for the increase in recording time. I've had mine a little over a year with absolutely zero problems.

    Even without the locals in HD (now I have one), DISH had a much better HD line-up than TWC here. I switched and haven't regretted it a minute.

    I got a nice little response from Randall (or whoever answers his emails). Basically it says they are working on it with DISH.

    I do believe that they are only the parent company for 8 and 12. 7 is Gray Media as I recall.
