Just got an email from Seeking alpha about this. I guess there was a chance that Starz could have been dropped. But now with the merger, Starz came to an agreement that will cover Directv and U-verse subs.

I agree. The last TV I bought was my 46" Samsung in February 2009. Still works like its brand new. No reason to replace it with 4K until it decides to die or until 4K becomes more mainstream, which won't happen for at least another few years.

Is Directv adding the RSN to the Entertainment package? Because on the package list, there's "Entertainment Classic" listed on the the retired base packages section and "Entertainment" in the current packages section. Both packages list a new price of $59.99.

That's true. Basically on the 1st part of the table, shift the prices two rows down and you get what'll probably be the right increases. Also see my previous post (post #10)

Xtra and Ultimate are currently $73.99 and 81.99 respectively. If it's still a $7 increase, well, I think we're smart enough to do the math.
