    Some of "Sports Pack" open

Yes, it would be so helpful if the Yankees feed, for instance, were always on the same MLBEI channel. But it isn’t, so I usually watch on 631. The only bad thing about that is if I’m not watching live, I risk missing the end of the game when the postgame show starts and the feed turns off.

I love when misspells create entirely different thoughts.

If the requirement is separate playlists in each of two rooms, then the best recommendation is an HR54 and HR24.

    Instead of Gemini

I brought my Apple TV 4K with me on a trip and I was surprised when I could play my latest recordings complete with my local commercials (I have DIRECTV satellite service.) I was able to FFWD through commercials as well. Is this a new capability for the DIRECTV app?

What makes you stay with Directv?

That exodus doesn't take effect until next summer.

New DIRECTV Receiver Coming in August

An NAS diplexer would be ideal for this, to separate DECA and SAT(SWM), at the receiver.

What makes you stay with Directv?

Yup, I liked it better when he played for the Twins.

What makes you stay with Directv?

I'd prefer a dedicated Yankees channel with DIRECTV MLBEI, instead of the home feed having a different channel number from game to game. Rather than keep all of the MLBEI channels in my guide, I usually watch on 631. The only problem with that is when the game ends, if I'm not watching live, I...

What makes you stay with Directv?

As a Yankee fan outside of NY, DIRECTV is pretty much the only option, especially in years past. As a bonus, YES has Dolby 5.1 on DIRECTV, which MLB.TV does not have. Historically, even though MLB Extra Innings eventually became more widely available, DIRECTV had home and away feeds, as well as...

What makes you stay with Directv?

No, DIRECTV does not require an internet connection. No, I don't get internet access through cable either. While UHD Blu-ray video has a much higher bitrate than streaming 4K, it is by no means uncompressed.

What makes you stay with Directv?

Agree to disagree. I suppose any detail I would have provided wouldn't make a difference. I would only order cable if there were no other option. Thankfully, there is.

What makes you stay with Directv?

    Simple. It's not cable.

Gemini Air - New DirecTV Stream Device

Apparently the port for power is USB-C, so the item I linked couldn't even connect without an adapter. The dongle cable is HDMI, not USB.

Gemini Air - New DirecTV Stream Device

If I had one I would have tried http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Streaming-Including-Chromecast/dp/B07N2ZHFY9/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1CSH04QYDSROY&keywords=B07N2ZHFY9&qid=1692033093&sprefix=b07n2zhfy9%2Caps%2C194&sr=8-1 as it works with my Fire TV Stick.

    Genie in another Room ?

I don't understand exactly what you're asking. An HR24 is a DVR that can record 2 programs at once and has its own playlist. It is more of a self contained box and you can't add a client to it.

    Genie in another Room ?

You can't have two Genies on your account, which is why I said earlier that you could try to get a DVR (HR24) for the second room if you want separate playlists.
  18. David Ortiz

    Genie in another Room ?

Correct. In that setup, the Gemini client can watch something different than the HR44. They both will see the same list of recordings.

    Genie in another Room ?

If you don't want to share the Genie, then you don't want a second client. The clients don't have to watch the same programs at the same time, but they will all see the same list of recordings. The only way to have separate lists of recordings for you and the other person in your house is for...

    Genie in another Room ?

If you put a wireless client in another room for someone else in your house, then you are basically sharing the Genie. You both will see the same list of recordings. They will see what you have recorded and vice versa. Assuming that is not a deal breaker, and if both rooms can be wired, why not...

Bluetooth Keyboards That Work With Gemini?

I tried to pair a Harmony Hub using the NVIDIA Shield device and the Gemini would not pair with the Harmony Keyboard. I tried to pair a Logitech K380 keyboard and the device lost connection to the Genie. Hopefully the Gemini and Gemini Air will be supported via Bluetooth for Harmony Hub.

Did you get an email for free MLBEI? If you did, reference that email when you call back.
