I have been thinking of switching from Dish to Direct lately thanks to all the new hardware Direct is getting. Then today I get my "Special Thank You From Dish," letter in the mail advising me of my price increases. So now, I am really thinking of switching. I have been with Dish for 10 years...

Huh? They lost 214,000 "Video Customers." They had an overall increase of 3.7% from last quarter. Everything else was looking great for them.

I am waiting to see how Dish spins their subscriber loss, while everyone else is showing gains. They can only ride out their, "It's the economy," for so long before shareholders realize he is full of it. And fyi, I am a happy Dish subscriber for 5 years now :)
