For EACH ONE? Come on, you know that's not correct. I must have a killer deal then to not pay that for my 622. While Dish is doing some stupid things, Directv sub growth in the US is no different than last quarter, around 100k.
You obviously aren't a Cubs or Sox fan, this change was pretty evident about 4 or 5 months ago. There's a game every week or so on the national anyway, no different than any other year.
There will be a time in the next couple years when there will be alot more capability than actual available channels, so as long as both get their sats in the sky, the numbers game will be nonsense anyway.
Thanks for the heads-up on RTN subchannels. I found a local NBC station that had it on one of their subs, rescanned the OTA antenna for it, and presto. Never would have known it was there otherwise, since they just added the third subchannel.
My God, some of you need to let some comments slide by you every now and then. If you aren't already paid Directv employees, you ought to be, as much as you carry their water for them.
