    Genie no Pause

    Might not be related, but when I had that issue with paused shows starting up again, it was because I had low storage on my DVR. Once I deleted a bunch of junk recordings, the problem cleared up for me.

    OK, that was the reason why we used the Component breakout cable for DTV at work. The television was too old to support the HDCP from the HDMI hookup. It worked fine with Component, albeit with some noise lines.

    I cannot guarantee anything will work. I have no clue if there was any added copy protection added to an HR54 running component verses the HR44 running component. That's above my knowledge, but I can tell you that the component breakaway cable has the Red, Green, Blue that you are looking for...
