Just tried 8888 and it didn't work. I think a reset is the only option. I'm guessing that's at the level of the card and not the reciever, right?- bhenn

I'm at a pal's place in Peru. He's got directv from Argentina (there's no service in Peru). The cowboy installer set the password and blocked channels. My pal doesn't know the pw and it's not 0000 The phone line won't work in this because it only works in Argentina like this, not...- bhenn
