    HR54 - 4K Genie FIRST LOOK

    Noticed that it does not support caller id function. So can keep the HR54. Never want one. Caller id valuable tool to keep from answering all the telemarketing calls.

    Basically, they move you for free. If you don't upgrade your equipment, you have to agree to stay with Direct for 12 months. If you upgrade your equipment, the new equipment is free, but you have to agree to stay with Direct for 24 months.

    I am not familiar with the D11 receiver, but somewhere in the menu you should have a detect satellites function. That will do it. However, with a 4X4 switch, you will lose the 110 and 119 satellites when it picks up the 72.5. You need a 6X4 switch with 2 cables coming from the 72.5 and four...

    Your receiver will find the channels for you. It is in the menu but I cannot remember the steps and I am at work. However, directions are in your manual.
