Ironically, since you mentioned it. I have a rented copy from 3d-blurayrental.com of Titanic on Blu-ray 3D and the 3D is excellent.

I don't know about that. I've read several articles about holographic TVs. The current 3D could be easily transferred to holograms, and the holographic standard itself could provide something even better. And they provide something like 45 angles? Note: I am not saying that old forms of 3D...

    Two questions...

I'm just simply saying I don't care if it's popular. I like it. There are political and religious friends of mine that say that I should or shouldn't enjoy something, but I think for myself. Many people say I shouldn't enjoy the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy or the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, but I...

Nice try, but I don't go by what's popular. I go by what I like. An example would be why I don't care if a movie I like, other's don't. For example, I liked Green Lantern.

    Two questions...

What does that have to do with what we're talking about? I wasn't asking if anyone's 3D TV was working, I was asking if the feature was still included on DirecTV boxes. But since we're going off subject, my advice is to find a good tech that can fix it (don't do Geek Squad, they suck). Or...

    Two questions...

I do know there's 3D on YouTube. My two favorite 3D YouTube channels are 3DN3D and 3D 'n' Play. But there's some others as well.

    Two questions...

Just to verify, you do have a 3D capable TV right? When I had DirecTV and went from a 2D TV to a 3D TV the 3D channels didn't appear in my guide until that happened. Just double checking and I would love to see that 3D pay-per-view station still there. Anyways, no one's answered about...

    Two questions...

Okay if I ever go back to DirecTV I have two questions... 1. (For those with 3D TVs.) First off, of course I know the 3D channels have been gone forever, but does DirecTV still offer 3D pay-per-view? (I believe it was channel 103 when I had DirecTV a long time ago.) 2. Is "moving"...

    Bankers Predicting Sale of DTV

Looks like they came down on the price of HBO with the addition of HBOmax

I get HBO and Cinemax through my Spectrum app. With that subscription I can access HBO Max. I just hope since they have the "Teen Titans: episodes I hope they also add "The Lost Episode" of "Teen Titans" as well as the TV movie "Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo". Heck while they're at it, why...

Are CBS / NBC /ABC important anymore? / Lacking coverage of Impeachment Hearings makes me wonder

What's interesting about the Kennedy/Nixon debate is that people who watched the debate on TV say that Kennedy won, but those who listened to the radio say that Nixon won.

    Is AT&T gutting DIRECTV?

Ah, the Scientology Channel... Perhaps the biggest propaganda channel of them all. Even having more propaganda than CNN.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

Just to double-check on what the other poster stated.... have you been able to “move” lately with your DirecTV service?

Why are there local MeTV ads in the Directv-inserted spots?

They show all the commercials that the primary channel airs (with the exception of DirecTV inserts) so that’s why you’re seeing them. Probably beneficial for the station anyways, for the consumer could get an antenna and watch it that way.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

I just called the number where you order DirecTV and told the guy that I frequently "move" between my billing address and "vacation home" and he said changing the address over the phone is no problem.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

I think you're a little confused. I read a little more of that thread and they state that you need to renew the waiver every year for DNS stations, but some where still able to “move”. A couple people on that thread have "moved" no problems. After my account was merged, I still was able to...

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

chuckbear and jperry29 on that message board state they have "moved" with no problems a month after the thread was started. I "moved" back a few months after they did. And I had to connect my DirecTV account with an AT&T account to access it. So mine was already merged before I "moved" again...

I read up on that. They don’t allow TEMPORARY service address changes but allow PERMANENT service address changes.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

When abouts did that start? I “moved” plenty of times after AT&T acquired DirecTV. I specifically remember also that I had to make an AT&T account as well. I had DirecTV as late as late June 2018. I even “moved” back the day I cancelled, no problems.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

I always “move” about an hour after the tech leaves. Always works with no problems.

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

I didn’t realize it was that bad. If one could “move” with cable, I’d debate to myself if I would wanna go that route. But since I can’t, I really love the Hopper 3 and Primetime Anytime, so I’ll most likely stay put. The only other problem though, is that my “moved” market of the Twin...

    AM21

If I return to DirecTV next year, I'll only mess with my own zip code and maybe the actual zip codes from the two markets I can get with an antenna, but I won't add any additional zip codes to add any missing stations. I can just use my TiVo Bolt for that. Plus, didn't I read they brought back...

That’s it! I’m leaving Dish when my contact’s up and returning to DirecTV.

Yes, that's true, but don't they usually resolve MUCH FASTER on DirecTV? The one with Dish and HBO has been going on for almost a year. In my true locals (not my "moved" ones), they had disputes with a couple of my stations for four months each.
