Buffalo TWC has definitely been busy. I'm going to have to seriously consider switching when my latest commitment is up this summer (especially if I end up missing most of the Conference & Stanley Cup Finals since they will only be on Versus & NBC).

In rural Buffalo :p I get Mets, Yankees, Indians & Pirates as my locals (Yes, MSG, MSG +, SNY, FSN Pitt & STO) with Premier.

Maybe? They do this in my area now. I get MSG, MSG+, YES & SNY with any package. With Choice Extra I also get STO & with Premier I get FSN Pittsburgh (though I only get Indians & Pirates games on those channels, other pro sports are still blacked out).

I think I'm done with it as well. I really only get it for the occasional out of region UT games on ABC & I think that I've only watched 2 UT games on GP the last 2 years. The majority of games they offer are WAC (many of which are also on Altitude w/sportspak) & Sunbelt with the occasional ACC...

If you like a lot of College Football choices Sportspak is definitely worth the $$. I watch more college football game via out of market RSN's (most in HD) than I ever watch on that terrible SD Gameplan.

You'll be able to access On Demand programming & you will also be able to stream movies/TV shows/music/pictures to your TV from your computer via your HR20 (you'll also need to download TVersity or PlayOn to do this though).

I'm not sure how it works in South America but here (US) you need to call & have the DVR/card authorized to your account (which may be a whole other problem if you bought leased equipment from a 3rd party) & you need to have DVR service added to your package (if you don't already have it).

Use the format button on your remote to change it on the box. IMO 720P is a lot better than 1080i if you watch anything with a lot of movement (sports, action movies, etc) otherwise the difference is minimal.

Next year when your ST renews call them & say you want to cancel because you can't justify the extra money for SF & ST is not worth the cost for SD feeds. They will likely give you SF for free. They're not going to let you cancel a big ticket item like ST if they can keep you happy for $100.

I personally would like to see FSC, MSNBC, History International & ESPN U added as well as more HBO's, TMC's, etc. but I guess I'll take what they give me & be happy with it :rolleyes:

I'll bet FSC HD will be in the next HD group to be added. They already carry all the Champions League & Europa League matches in HD on the UEFA channels. I love the EPL but I can't stand watching the horrible SD productions they have on FSC right now, I'll watch matches on ESPN 2 but hardly...

I have my dish on the roof for the same reason. A super soaker w/washer fluid or anti freeze has always worked well for me.

I agree. The SD transmissions look so bad on my 50" plasma that I usually either stop watching them or end up watching them on my 36" tube TV in the bedroom.

Strong wind & heavy rain usually give me more problems than snow.

Was it the Caps or Canucks broadcast? If it is in HD it is usually pretty good my biggest issue with CI is that too many of the games I want to see aren't ever in HD or when they say it is going to be HD sometimes it is actually SD with a smaller screen w/FSN borders on the sides.
