    A SWM8 should work. You cannot change to a SWM ODU. The SK-3005 has a build in DVB receiver that uses signals from the standard ODU.

    Probably a bad cable or bad connector in the cable for tuner number 2. Swap the tuner 1 and tuner 2 cables. If problem moves to tuner 1 you need to check you cable and connectiors.

    The Dish that you have is equivalent to a 5LNB Multi-sat. The newer receivers will auto sense the dish type. Just hook it up and it should figure out the correct setting.

    Have Your Tried a SWM Setup I would suggest that your try a SWM8 or SWM S ODU. Another Option would be to install a higher grade Coax.
