    The Weather Channel....is BACK!

With TWC you have to hope that they consider your severe weather important enough to interrupt their regular (reality) programming. There have been cases where severe weather including tornados were causing casualties while TWC refused to cut away from their standard programming.

Is there a deal for new DirecTV subs? Im considering hopping over the fence from Dish to DTV ... Note: I'd want a setup two 2 R15's only, but maybe with the capability to add a non-DVR single tuner receiver later.

Your thought's on what the new Directv DVR's will be like?

To get back to the original thread (non-TiVo DVRs) - Humax will be manufacturing the non-Tivo SD receivers, link is http://www.humaxusa.com/news_DIRECTV050224.html At the CES, I belive DirecTV said these units would be avaialble in "mid-2005". I have not seen any more specific info on when...

Can two rooms be in two different markets?

As said above (kinda), the info is set to your receiver more than once. I have no idea what the period is, but eventually the updated ZIP info will get to your HD receiver. Otherwise everybody would unhook their receivers, cancel their service, wait a few days, reconnect receivers and BOOM...
