    Why would DirecTv take my receiver (DSR7000/17 (DVR Receiver)) and say it won't work for local channals when it is on the list of receivers that will worK? They also gave me a new dvr that does not get channel 247?

    Locals for the Wausau, Stevens Point WI Area

    I am getting my second dish and a new dvr (my old one will not be able to get locals) installed on Thursday for the Wausau and Stevens Point area in WI. And the best thing is that it is all free.
