Interested in this. I can stream Netflix and Amazon ok, but Directv on-demand always takes overnight to get on the DVR. Never been able to watch without putting it on the DVR. Please post the solution, when you get it. Thanks, Eric

Yeah, I missed that the first two times I read through the thread. Switching to SD during weather is your next best approach. That's what I do.

Switch to a commercial system and bring your signal the 600 feet at a lower frequency.

Thanks, Hutch1814. Doesn't look like the new version is not currently in the data stream. My receiver can't find it and the "Firmware Monitor" page doesn't show it active. Not sure if that's a reliable source or not though... I'll remain waiting!

I've searched the other site and the Directv forum. I've concluded that if you are using a Denon AVR, HDMI does not work properly with the latest version of software for the DVRs. There are several posts on Direct's own forum about the problem. I suggest e-mailing Directv about the problem...

It has caused my HR22-100 to be intermittent on the HDMI output to my Denon AV receiver. At power on or on channel change, the AV receiver may or may not detect HDMI. Worked fine on previous version. 2 resets so far, seems to be getting better. Work is keeping me away from it until the weekend...

Just tell them it won't even boot up, and you need a new one. The returns go to a different location, so nobody ever checks.
