I signed up for DirecTV and I have my install next week. Will I have any problems if I only have VOIP in the house? Can I get my DVR set up in any other way? (Internet, etc)?

I signed up for DirecTV today. I signed up for the DirecTV Sports Pack which has the regional sports channels. Won't I be able to see the majority of the basketballs games on the regional channels WITHOUT getting the NBA package?
