Same here My father is having the same problem, and also channel 33 will not show a picture most of the time and when it does there is no audio. Service has only been installed a week. Only 1 dish was installed(5 lnb slim) and CSR is stating that there is no way he is getting any locals...

I'll check tomorrow for the models. He said the guy told him that is all they install now so if a customer upgraded to HD then Direct doesn't need to send any other receivers??

My father just had directv installed and I wondered if it is normal for the installer to install all HD receivers even though my parents have no hd tv's. The installer installer 1 HD DVR and 2 HD receivers. Thanks.
