It's really difficult to answer this question because to truely know if there is a difference you would have to find someone who has a high end cable and a low end cable. I was in BB this week and I saw a HDMI cable for $144. That's just too high of a price for me.

Yes.....I remember when Directv was trying to get INHD....at least it sounded that way. I'm really getting bored with VOOM and some other HD ch's now. I still like watching network HD for the sports and all.

I tell you something.....I'm a Directv sub and Dish sub just for the HD....20 bucks a mth....and I haven't felt like I needed to tune into what the VOOM ch's have had on at all. A ton of repeats...they need new material. I would like INHD but I do realize it is an only cable ch.

I also can't see that Directv would set the price that high. We will just have to wait and see....but I would hope it isn't true.

When they show a movie in True HD it usually looks very good. I love this ch for their weekend movie selection. Also, you will find that the sound is great....better than some of the pay ch's.

I made the switch to Dish HD only pack f or 19.99 and dropped and dropped my HD pack on my Directv sub. For 8 bucks more a mth I gained the VOOM ch's plus got TNTHD. The VOOM ch's I watch alot are MonstersHD and RAVE. But it's really been a good move for me.
