    Block Buster vs Netflix

So far, I have went through a bunch of movies in a few weeks, got one bad disk and hit the report problem option and a new one is on the way. I have no complaints with Net Flix for now, it's been great, just hope they keep up the good work. Wish they would add an option to get x-box games !

    Block Buster vs Netflix

I have cancelled Blockbuster for now and will keep Netflix. So far, turn around time has been great. I got the dark Night in just with little wait, can watch stuff on the Xbox and PC. Netflix has a new Dist Center thats within 1 day on mail, unlike before. Now of I start getting screwed...

    Block Buster vs Netflix

I had tried Netflix a year or more ago. The shipping center for them was in KC or St. Louis MO, so it was taking 3-4 days to get a Disk to Central MO and half the time they would be scratched, so you would have delays getting them replaced, so I cancelled them. With the Dish AEP, and extra...

Ok Time to buy a Blu Ray, but which one?

I like the mid road and the $224 price. High end's fine too, but my teens could care less about HD as long as the TV works, they are happy, same way with the spouse.

    New BB deal

I made a trip into BB, just before Christmas and the Planet Earth HD DVD was now $99, Wal-Mart $64, along with most other things priced $10-$50 higher in the under $200 area. Easy place to get ripped !

    New BB deal

That sounds like a great deal, but I have noticed Best Buy stuff runs an average of $10 higher for DVD's, Keyboards, etc that you might find at Target/Wal-Mart. Recently, the Planet Earth DVD was $89 at BB and $64 at Wal-Mart, a major difference.

    Cancelled Netflix

I had same issues, about 3 out of 5 movies would be so messed up, they would skip or not play. The time I got a replacement, it took a week. Nothing worse than sitting down with the popcorn and have the movie go nuts and miss a bunch of it. If I went that route again, I would go Blockbuster, at...

    trouble reading netflix rentals

I had NETFLIX for about 3 months and cancelled, out of 6 movies, 1/2 would not work because of scratched discs. Ticks you off to sit down on a Saturday Eve to watch a movie and have it screwed up. And of course, it's about a week turn around to get it replaced. At least if I got it local, I can...
