    Dell is always giving away monitors with systems. You could buy the system, keep the monitor and sell the system to offset the price of the monitor. Just an idea.

    I have the 24" Dell and love it. I used it with my PC and now use it with my PowerMac. Not as good looking as the Apple screens, but why pay a ton more for just looks. If you monitor the Dell site, you can find a really great deal.

    I felt like they tried to make it more user friendly, but they actually made it tougher for technical people. I had an easier time with OSX from Windows than Vista from Windows XP.

    I would also recommend that you get the max hard drive space available, especially if you are dual booting. If Mac Mini's are as hard to work with as people report, you won't want to mess with upgrading the hard drive later and you will need the space if you start using the Mini as your main...

    VGA vs. DVI out to HDTV?

    I am not an expert on the DVI/VGA thing, but I worked with a guy who was responsible for specs and testing engineering workstations and he always swore that when adjusted correctly, you could not tell the difference between DVI/VGA.

    How many computers do you have in your house?

    I have 3 PC Desktops, 1 Powermac G5, 2 PC Laptops and 1 MacBook pro running in the house. I also have 2 other desktops in the basement that I run once in a while.
