I Got My Refund Today !!

I got my refund from VOOM today !! It took only about 4 weeks to get. I got a check for $ 607.97. I had VOOM from day one, and had two receivers. Thank you VOOM. You were a class act, and I miss you. I still enjoy VOOM's exclusives on Dish Network, however.

It's Official - VOOM ON DISH NETWORK!

Could someone just verify this for me ? It is in effect $ 250 (after the activation fee) for a 4 room (2 HD) setup ? I am confused by this. First I heard the four room setup is free, now I am hearing there is a $ 250 activation fee ? How does this work ? Is it free or $ 250 ?

It's Official - VOOM ON DISH NETWORK!

So it is my understanding you get a free 4 room hookup with 2 free HD receivers, but there is a $ 250 activation fee. So in effect a 4 room hookup with 2 HD receivers cost you $ 250. Correct ?

It's Official - VOOM ON DISH NETWORK!

Yeah, if I can simply use my VOOM dish and just get new receivers and receive the HD pack I would sign up. I always used VOOM as a supplemental to cable anyway. Does anyone know if you can use the VOOM dish to receive the HD pack ?

Remember this is the NY Post. The stuff they print is nonsense. Do not believe one word you read in that paper. This is not like Newsday, which is pretty reputable.

    Cablevision agrees to end Voom

Well guys since AP and Reuters are now confirming that VOOM is done as of April 30 I guess I was right. I told you Newsday is a very reputable newspaper. I am sad, too. However, I did not go into denial as some of you did.

    Cablevision agrees to end Voom

I have lived in the Newsday area for 40 years now. I have read Newsday constantly, and they would not report a bogus story. This is not the NY Post that always has a bunch of nonsense. I know this Harry Berkowitz (Newsday writer) very well. He would not print this if it was not true...

    Cablevision agrees to end Voom

To me it is kind of sad to watch you guys in denial like this. The board voted 15-0 to end VOOM tonight. It is a fact. VOOM, as we know it, is done. The only hope you have is if your Cable/DBS company picks up the VOOM exclusives that will be offered to other companies. Except for an...
