Some of the locals for some markets are carried on the "wing" satellites - 61.5 and 148. If you have locals on either one of those satellites, DISH will install the extra dish and LNB for free. If your locals are on the 148, you could slip the installer a tip and have them point it at 61.5...

Folks - don't forget that your STB needs to be in standby - e.g. turned off but not unplugged - to get the updates. This is a characteristic of all Moto STBs (4DTV works the same way) to avoid disrupting a viewer if they are watching when the update becomes available. I always shut my box off...

I'd assume the STB needs to be in standby to get the update, so for those folks that leave it on all the time, they may not see the update. Valid assumption? If so, something to factor in when looking for changes. Doug
