    Worth it?

    I have Voom and Dish also. I think it is worth it, and the content on Voom is great. I hardly ever watch Dish anymore, but I can't cancel since i'm also in a contract. As soon as my contract is over I will cancel Dish. For now I have lowered my package on Dish.

    I use my Debit card and they have messed up twice. You should take Jimmykce1 advice and look on the website and see when they will charge you. That is what I do.

    I was installed on the 10th of March. Billed on the 5th of April. Then I was billed again on the 20th of April.

    My tv and receiver are very good in my eyes and ears. But my speakers need a serious upgrade. Bose 301 for the fronts Sony's for the center and rears and a Sony sub.

    Sorry guys for all the trouble. I had switched the Voom stb a while ago to pcm and forgot to switch it back, it works now. Just one more question which setting should I leave it on when watching non dd5.1 tv?

    I have E* and I tested it. When I watch E* the receiver switches to DD5.1 but on Voom it does not. What could be the problem. I will try one more thing to see if that changes things.

    Is there any channel with 5.1 right now? I have my receiver on and i was watching HBOHD and my receiver did not switch automatically to DD 5.1. Also I have Voom hooked up through coax which cd on my revceiver. Does that sound right?

    Thanks for all the replys. Let see if I got this right. I should leave it on Dolby pro logic II and then it will switch automaticallty Dolby Digital? Should I ever use any of the other setting they offer?

    A Word On VOOM Picture Quality

    I will stick with Voom also. They may have some problems but I have faith they will fix them. I agree with compurocker with out customers they will never prosper, and if they fail D* and E* will never feel the pressure to add HD Channels.
