    I'm not familiar with that amp, but most single band amps block the "other" band. You'll probably do better by taking OUT that VHF amp!

    Use the number from any online source, and yes you should magnetically compensate the value. It's the same as the echo satellite. What I can't tell you is if the source you are using is already magnetically compensating (depending on your zip code) or not.

    Well, I have StarzHD on my cable system. Many of the movies they have are frequently NOT shown in HD. I'd say it's 50/50 chance.. Would be interesting to see if VOOM ends up the same way. (In the movies description on Adelphia, it says HDTV otherwise it's shown in SD narrowscreen...) For...
