The plan is not to dominate right out of the gate. Same with Xbox, offer a better system, same price, great content and get an install base. Then come out with the latest, greatest whatever and keep adding in from GOOD word of mouth.

I thought that 1080i and 720p were so close BW wise that it would be a negligable difference, BW wise that is. If that is the case then why doesn't Voom send out everthing in 720p and save bandwidth to be redistributed along the channels increasing PQ?

I was talking to an HD salesman and he said something that didn't sound right. That 1080i uses more bandwidth than 720p. Is this true cuse to me it sounds like total BS

They need to add more classic movies in HD IMO. Patton, Tora, Tora, Tora, Big Red One, Short Circut. Goonies would be another good one. I enjoy the movies on Cinema 10. The Towering Inferno is funny 30yrs later. Oh BTW I'm only 28

Rca I adjusted a lot of stuff. Oe thing at a time and if all else fails you can reset the settings to default and try again. Not only do you need to move the pic but you have to adjust it into the frame as well. Try adjusting contrast and sharpness, two big things if not adjusted properly...

Rca I'm running a RCA D52W17E on DVI. Had problems with the off set pic, went into service menu and moved it and changed some the the color settings that you can't change from regular menu. Pic is sharp and clear on DVI

Hey, the only reason I switched to Voom was because my local Cablevison sucks. With Voom I get more HD and HD locals (don't care about the Detroit stations). Not only that but I have channels that they (the cable co) haven't even added yet. Oh, and for 1/2 the price of getting the same...

Actually there is nothing on during the day unless you want to watch The View or Maury. I watched LOTR: FOW in HD and must say it was great!

*Disclaimer From CSR Today* Talked to Voom about the RSN's being active on my bill. She (the dreaded CSR) said that V* is trying out the RSN's on certain people before they roll out all of them to try and work out the bugs. Whatever that means. Anyone getting any FSN's?
