Agree.. Our local TWC has ABC, NBC, FOX but no CBS. Local morons won't deal and this has been going on for over a year! There was alot of unhappy folks in the area with the super bowl being on CBS last year for sure. Absolute BS as far as i'm concerned.. Gerry

Sure would... like to see a posting by Scott or someone on the exact breakdown of the three HD packages. I really am getting tired of paying big bucks for a zillion channels I don't watch and with next months rate hike I believe this is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. It's sad...

The problem is... not many people know that if your local cable company carries locals in HD then they ride "clear to air" on even basic cable. That's probably the reason for lack of demand. But hey- I know about it and want a solution ;). Gerry

Tr-50 Living in an area where I cannot get OTA, I was disappointed that the TR50 does not have a tuner (QAM) in it. I have basic cable and can tune the HD locals off it with my TV but have no way of recording the material. Had hopes but they appear dashed:(. Gerry

Now if.. they would have put a ATSC (QAM) tuner in it for picking HD off the cable I would be all over one:D. Gerry
