Yes this is the puzzler. I suspect the basic E*-Disney programming contract in effect, failed to differentiate between SD and HD content and thus E* felt free to use both SD and HD content instead of negotiating a separate contract. Now Disney has stuck out its horns in order to grab more bucks...

That'd be a bummer. I guess anyone who was considering jumping to Turbo should do so just in case in order to be grandfathered. I think E* should just be forthcoming and state upfront that because of provider programming restrictions we may not be able to offer all new HD channels to our Turbo...

I don't know. They're already on the beam and some subs are pointed at 61.5 with double dish installations. It's not likely any other market could be placed on the 61.5 beam in that area. Things may change a couple years down the road but I don't see them taking the channels off the 61.5 spot beam.
