I'd just be happy if they'd update the guide data for OTA KFXL (which they already carry on satellite and therefore have the guide data already...just changing a "pointer" I would imagine), which I only submitted 2 months ago... *sigh*

Yeah, it's not Storm Lake, IA. It's Lincoln, NE and it's a FOX affiliate (basically right now a rebroadcast of KTVG). I get it OTA also, but unfortunately it's not in HD yet. Hopefully soon?

*sigh* I figured...I enjoy having Dish, but sometimes it feels like Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the football around here... :-P

I'm guessing that's because they haven't made any of those changes shown above "available" yet (see the NA to the right of the AK HD's). I'm hoping that they'll do another uplink here soon that will turn on all of those changes they made...

Yeah...luckily I can pick up KPTM OTA, so I *can* watch Fox in HD, but with their "stupid scheduling tricks" related to AI, it's been really annoying to schedule other shows around them. Once it's in HD on dish, with the OTA +2 tuners to record on, I could care less if they want to run it 5...

Sure hope they turn on some of those locals they uplinked today. We've been waiting for KTVG for quite a while...

Yep...same here, and I have AT200+Silver. Darnit...I really wish it was the other way around, too. VS is the only channel I *don't* get on AT200/Silver that I'd like to have and I wouldn't miss Golf. :(

Looks to me like WAAY is available in SD (not HD) on 61.5, if you have a dish that points at that bird. That doesn't preclude them from putting an HD signal up later, but right now it appears to be SD (as 3 of the 4 major networks are also being broadcast on 61.5 in my DMA too).

Do you have a dish pointed at 61.5, or the "typical" (for this area) install pointed at 110/119/129? If you're in the latter, you'll have to call Dish and have them send someone out to install a "wing dish" to pick up the HD locals from Omaha on 61.5. Seems stupid to me, but Dish never asked...

Yeah...I'm waiting to get my "wing dish" installed to pick up 61.5. Not a big deal, though, as I already have an antenna and am getting all of the channels I want in HD already OTA. Just would be nice to have all of the networks coming in HD over the satellite, too, though, for those times...

Actually...I could do that for free since my antenna is also going to my HDTV and they're both on OTA channels. I just didn't think of it last night (and that only helps if I'm there to watch one of the shows, otherwise one is going to be SD on the DVR regardless since I can't watch either at...

Yep....I feel your pain (and am thus hoping for HD uplink also). Except, that our conflicts are Terminator and HIMYM. The women on HIMYM have always been beautiful...but they look a lot better in HD... ;) I HAVE to have Terminator in HD for the special effects, though, so it wins...for now. :-P

That's what a lot of us are wondering. Personally, I had an antenna put up at the same time when I had it installed beginning of Sept, so HD locals on Dish are a "nice to have" thing. I would think that they would either simulcast them on WA and EA, or else provide some sort of transfer plan...
