I'm always ready to get happy... heh... They've had so many HD locals uplinked for 8 weeks or so, it's just been surprising to see so few (relatively) made available.

The main thing that'd make me happy would be Macon, GA HD locals...

Great... putting the Macon, GA, locals on 77W. HD versions already uplinked at 77W. Already have a 722K, so I guess it's time to ditch the 510, get a 211 and 1000.4.

Nice... Macon, GA, locals in HD... at 77W. I'm on 129... I'm guessing 1000.2 dish. Dish Network says "sure, we can get you a dish pointed to 77W... for $95." Great. Oh, well, OTA works well, being only 18 miles from the transmitters.

Nobody'll care about WPGA, except a few die hards loving their Knight Rider reruns. WGXA-DT2 isn't up yet, and WGXA-DT isn't viewable OTA here lately (both the TV tuner and 722k tuner have trouble with it... 722k didn't, but it does now). It'll be interesting to see the result of 2 HD...

Or even WGXAD Is the uplink scheduled for 1/1/10? The actual affiliation switch looks to be effective on Monday, 1/4/10, the beginning of the "broadcast week."

That's Lowell's story, and he's sticking to it (but it may not necessarily be the truth) WPGA-TV is already available via DISH in the Macon DMA, but is possibly under retrans consent... which opens the door to DISH dropping them come 1/1/10. That may be the reason for moving them to 110...
