    Two years plus of waiting (Jun of 07) since it was initially uplinked. Maybe Schurz communications finally worked it out. Anyway, now some more football in HD and some other shows. Now come on FOX and Dish, get KTBY up in HD and you will make a whole lot of Alaskans happy! :D:D:D

    That's what the na means. Not Available. If you go back to June of 07 channel 2 was uplinked and listed as na and it is still there. It was also uplinked to 129 as na and is still there.

    That's what I thought. With the A and H we should be seeing them in the 4000 range on our schedule but as you say, we aren't.

    Spots 46 and 47 Ok, I'm confused. What are the 4000 series channels added to the spots for AK and HI? They sure don't show up is my guide.

    Go to the Dish network site. On the top banner click on packages, click on AK/HI. Click on HI, under the aloha banner click on the first blue line that says click here to see the newly expanded HD list. They they are! :D

    Looked on my account at Dish and it shows all the new HD channels avail for AK. They changed the channel numbers from the last uplink and show them all in order now from 5501 thru 5555. Did a check switch and reloaded the program guide but still have the old lineup.

    OK, now that the new HD is turned on for AK and HI, how do I get to see it? I have a 6' dish on 129, great signal strength on the spots, ran a check switch and downloaded the program guide, but the only channels that show up are HBO-W (chan 5545) and MAX-W (chan 5565). Any ideas? Probably...

    Don't confuse spotbeams with transponders. 32 transponders but lots more spotbeams, go to EKB: Dish Network Channels at 129° to see the complete list of channels and tp's and spotbeams. :)

    :) :) I'm smiling from ear to ear. Just had my 6 ft. dish swung over yesterday and already gets alot more HD, but this is truly icing on the cake. Only thing lacking are the three locals that aren't on yet. :) :)

    OK, where do you get your info from? I looked up dish 500AK on Google and I'm not convinced a 22" dish would work here. It would be nice if it would, lot less hardware.
