I went with the comcast triple play of cable, digital phone, and internet. I also have a dishnetwork dish trained on the 61.5 satellite where I watch 3ABN. So far so good. I'm still thinking about Glorystar, but I haven't made a move in that direction yet.

3abn is now up and running on channel 9710.

Per Moses Primo, 3ABN's chief engineer, 3ABN may be on Dish by the end of May, or the 1st of June. He said it on their program tonight.

I have a 508 that I bought on e bay. It gets the job done. One day I hope to upgrade to a dual tuner so that I don't have to choose between which shows to record when there is a schedule conflict. Dvr is definitely the way to go. I can't imagine tv without it.

I said long time ago that 3abn should be given a dish PI channel. A lot of the programming among those channels is poorly lacking, or non existent. I don't see how 3abn could be back on satellite 61.5, and still be given back the number 9710. I guess anything' s possible; I'll have to see...

Perhaps the appeal of having 3ABN on dish network is exposing the message to all the other dish subscribers.

I luv dvr too. FTA has a dvr receiver also.

* I have a lifetime subscription, whatever that means * there are some good shows on SA, like 'light thru the night', & some of the shows on KSBN 9711, during the sabbath hours *I can't think of nothing else.
