    Saving Private Ryan On ABC

Holy jeez was that horrible. It said it was HD but if that was HD I'm a snowman. Didn't even have 5.1 surround sound. My DVD copy was cleaner than that broadcast here in Chicago anyway. I've seen it many times so decided it wasn't worth it to watch after about 45 min.

    VOOM HDNews and Elections

Any of you flip to channel 100 to watch some of the election news? How was it content wise? I actually didn't think it was to terribly bad considering the resource constraints they most assuradly have. Granted there corrispondance was a bit rough but they had people were they were needed for...

NASCAR on NBC - is it HD and Dolby 5.1?

Here in Chicago is was 480p and Stereo 3.0 It looked fairly decent without 1080i though the storm warning interuptions that would put black bars on the left and right started to get annoying.

TNT-HD: Purgatory 4pm EST in HD

The PQ on this wasn't all that great. Not supprising sense it was TNT but still.... Then to make matters worse it kept cutting to a black screen throughout the movie. Sound was great all the way through even during the black screens. Fargen TNT is the only channel I ever have this happen...

The Terminator is Coming to MonstersHD 10AM & 7PM EST

The Original Terminator was released as a Horror film. While it has turned into a Sci-fi Thriller in the last 2 movies the original was built as a Horror. You know, robots come out of time to kill us all..... ;)

DivineHD: Should it be "a la carte"?

I don't believe its indifference but it also doesn't make an impact as far as bandwidth goes compared to what we have available today. It is being added to Cinema 10. Soo, while we did get some new programing (some like it, some don't) we still haven't lost the ability to get even more. :)
