You can't even see 60 FPS  The interlacing isn't noticeable unless the text is moving...and moving quickly.

Comparing TNTHD on Voom VS Dish

Technically D* compresses the HD channels the most (2/QPSK transponder). I suppose this will change with 7S. Dish and Voom are using higher-capacity transponders and 8PSK.

Comparing TNTHD on Voom VS Dish

Echostar has all kinds of bandwidth since they only have a handful of HD offerings. Once they actually add some content, you'll see the bandwidth drop like a rock in a river. The Rainbow 1 transponders actually have a higher capacity than the transponders on 110. Once dish places 3 HD...

MonstersHD: Evil Dead Today at 12pm & 7pm CST

Evil Dead was filmed in this town (Morristown, TN). As a matter of fact, I chat-up the gentleman that owns the property where it was filmed daily. He owns the local war surplus shop. Unfortunately, some punks fooling around the cabin years ago caused it to catch fire and burn to the ground...

HBO-HD East: The Matrix Reloaded Tonight at 8:00pm EST

The wife and I watched it. She hasn't seen any of the sequels...and this movie really pissed her off. She apparently really enjoyed The Matrix, and feels like this film negated the original to an extent...I kind of laughed and thought, "she feels like that now, wait until she sees revolutions!"

WOW!! Tears of the Sun!! on StarzHD

Truly, film has almost limitless resolution compared to any digital medium. If you have access to a good theatre that is getting good quality film and not running the hell out of it, the picture simply can't be beat.
